At the occasion of its first participation to the TEFAF Showcase, the gallery Louis & Sack is delighted to present a selection of three major post-warJapanese painters from the Nouvelle Ecole de Paris : Toshimitsu Imai (1928-2002), Hisao Domoto (1928-2013) and Key Sato (1906-1978).
The gallery research since its creation is to initiate a dialogue between 1950’s Japanese painters and contemporary ceramists from Asia. To illustrate our purpose, we have chosen to introduce the work of Yukiya Izumita (b.1966) for this project.
