The Printemps Asiatique will be the occasion for the Louis & Sack gallery to celebrate its three years of existence, through its favorite theme: Japanese artists in Paris from 1960 to 1990.

Celebrating bright colors, canvas or paper through a selection of works by major Japanese artists of the New School of Paris including : Toshimitsu Imai (1928-2002), Hisao Domoto (1928-2013), or Akira Kito (1925-1994), this exhibition offers an explosive panorama of abstraction from Asia in post-war Paris.

To accompany this spring theme, the gallery also presents some contemporary surprises, including ceramic sculptures by Japanese artist Akashi Murakami, created for the occasion, as well as some pieces by the famous Korean ceramist Seungho Yang.
